In today's blog I'm going to cover an indoor shoot that I recently had the pleasure of capturing in Esher, featuring the lovely Claire and her adorable baby girl, Isla. I never take for granted the privilege of being welcomed into people's homes. It was a joy to capture the pure love shared between this mother-daughter duo in the soft, natural light of their beautiful home.

Natural Light and Genuine Connections

We kicked off the session with lots of smiles as Claire and Isla interacted naturally in front of the lens, snuggling and playing like they would on any given morning. The soft, natural light streaming through the windows illuminated their happy faces, making an ordinary scene into something so simplistic and beautiful.

A Festive Wardrobe Change

After some initial shots, we added a festive sprinkle to the shoot with a quick wardrobe change into Isla's Christmas Day outfit - an adorable little red tartan dress. The dress, paired with the beautifully decorated tree in the background, added a delightful festive flair to the photoshoot. Isla's cheeky charm and the holiday spirit complemented each other perfectly, resulting in some photos that I know Claire will cherish forever.
